Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has said that he is extremely pleased with the praise received from Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson following his team’s 1-0 win over the Red Devils.
It has been an amazing few weeks for Roberto Martinez and his team after they have climbed out of the relegation zone.
They have also managed to create a buffer between them and the teams fighting for the relegation. Even though their recent form may not have been given credit up until now, the 1-0 win over Manchester United has brought them all the plaudits.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has said that he is hopeful that striker Victor Moses will be fit for the match against Stoke city on Saturday.
Victor Moses was injured in the match against Liverpool after he was kicked by Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel in the head, which has proven to be more serious than initially feared.
Wigan finally won the match 2-1 after a splendid performance, which led to their first win at Anfield. It was initially thought that Victor Moses could have broken his jaw, which would have halted the progress Wigan have been making in the league in the last few weeks.
However, scans have confirmed that the striker has not broken jaw and that there is every chance he will be fit for the match against Stoke city during the weekend.
